Co-managed IT support in the BVI

An extension of your team.
Not a replacement for it.

Your internal IT team knows the business. MicroAntix adds operational capacity, project delivery and technical support where they are most useful. Together, we define who owns each service, how work is approved and when a problem should move from one team to the other.

The arrangement can address recurring workload, specialist gaps, additional sites or a defined project. It is built around the responsibilities you want to retain, with a documented scope that can evolve as your organization changes.

A shared operating model

Agree the responsibility before assigning the work.

The following is an example starting point. Your final responsibility matrix is documented for the engagement.

Where we add capacity

Bring the right expertise into the work.

Operational support & escalation

Relieve recurring pressure on the internal team without losing visibility of the work.

We can handle agreed ticket categories, act as an escalation resource and help coordinate complex incidents. Routing rules, required information and handoff points prevent requests from being passed back and forth without an owner.

  • Help desk overflow and specialist troubleshooting
  • Agreed remote and on-site support
  • Incident records and shared knowledge

Infrastructure & systems engineering

Strengthen the environment behind your business applications.

Our team can assist with server administration, networking, Wi-Fi, storage and workplace infrastructure. We assess existing dependencies and agree the change process with your internal team before maintenance, migration or replacement work.

  • Server and network maintenance
  • Infrastructure upgrades and office moves
  • Configuration records and technical handover

Cloud & digital workplace

Add capacity for a controlled transition and ongoing administration.

We support agreed Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and related workplace projects, including account administration, migration coordination and collaboration configuration. Your team retains the policies and business decisions that govern access and information.

  • Identity and access administration
  • Email and collaboration projects
  • User readiness and migration support

Security & business continuity

Turn identified risks into a prioritized technical work programme.

We can assist with agreed endpoint and network controls, backup administration, recovery planning and remediation. Security incidents have a defined escalation path; regulatory decisions and formal assurance remain with the appropriate business and professional advisers.

  • Patch and protection coordination
  • Backup reviews and recovery exercises
  • Risk tracking and remediation support

Consultation & technology planning

Make technology decisions with the operational consequences in view.

Assessments consider the current environment, business requirements, lifecycle risks and available budget. Recommendations explain dependencies, options and delivery priorities so that decision-makers can plan investment without relying on a disconnected equipment list.

  • Infrastructure and service assessments
  • Roadmaps, budgets and lifecycle planning
  • Vendor coordination and procurement advice

Flexible engagement

Choose the shape of the partnership.

Ongoing co-management

A defined recurring service for selected systems, support categories or sites. Suitable when your internal team needs dependable additional capacity and a regular review rhythm.

Project collaboration

Specialist design and delivery for an agreed initiative, with milestones, acceptance criteria and handover. Useful for upgrades, migrations, office changes and infrastructure renewal.

Assessment & consultation

A focused review of the environment or a specific decision. The output is an agreed assessment, options or roadmap that your leadership and IT team can act on.

Scope, availability, commercial terms and any after-hours coverage are agreed before the engagement. Equipment, licences and third-party charges are specified separately where applicable.

Governance that keeps teams aligned

One plan.
Clear decisions.
No ambiguity about ownership.

Co-management works when communication is part of the service, not an afterthought. We establish the operating rules with your IT lead and authorized business contacts.

Common questions

Make the partnership work for your team.

Discuss your environment with our BVI team. We will confirm the scope, responsibilities and support arrangements before work begins.

Will we keep control of IT strategy?

Yes. Your organization retains business priorities, risk decisions and spending authority. We provide technical input and deliver the tasks assigned in the agreed responsibility model.

Can we keep our current tools and suppliers?

We review what is already in place and retain suitable tools where practical. Any proposed changes, integrations or licensing requirements are discussed before implementation. We can also coordinate with existing suppliers.

Can you take only a specific part of the workload?

Yes. An engagement can cover selected systems, ticket categories, sites or a particular project. Clear boundaries and escalation rules are documented so both teams understand the handoff.

How do you protect access to our systems?

Access is authorized for the agreed work and limited to appropriate personnel. We define account ownership, administrative permissions, access removal and relevant logging according to your requirements and the available tools.

What happens at the end of a project or agreement?

We agree handover responsibilities, documentation, open-work tracking and access changes. The aim is an orderly transition with usable records and clearly identified ongoing support owners.
